Welcome to the home page of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Team Minnesota NWTF is dedicated to expanding the wild turkey flock to provide as much opportunity to enjoy the grandest of all game birds for those that hunt as well as those that simply want to watch them in the wild! Work is constantly going on in the North Star State to accomplish this goal through land acquisition and habitat improvement. Also important to us is the continuation of the Trap & Transplant Program to expand the range past the ancestral range in the 1800's. We hope we can share part of our story through this site.

“The Conservation of the Wild Turkey and the Preservation of the Hunting Tradition”
That is the Mission Statement of the National Wild Turkey Federation, pretty simple and straight forward.
The almost 27,000 volunteers and members of the 97 local chapters of the NWTF in Minnesota, and from the State Board, welcome to our website. We thank you for taking the time to visit and invite you to join us as we continue to work for the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our Minnesota hunting heritage here in the North Star State.
Yours in Conservation,
