The Hunting Heritage Super Fund was established in 1985 to fund wild turkey restoration, management, and othe National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) projects. The Super Fund pools money generated by NWTF chapters, individual contributors and corporate donors to benefit the wild turkey. This account is administered jointly by the State chapter, and the National headquarters & is setup to ensure accountability and maintain consistent management of the fund, while allowing for local input for projects.
Hunting Heritage Super Fund deposits come primarily from banquets. Fifty-six percent of the contribution after membership and regional services are deducted, is deposited in the State Super Fund. This money is used to support projects in the state where the money is raised. |
